Technical Game Audio specialist originally from Vista, California, USA.

In the games industry I started as a QA Tester for a few years, then as a freelancer worked on sound design for a few indie projects while learning a bit about coding and game development on the job. These days, the technical end has become my area of focus where I’m constantly learning new coding and how to improve the coding and audio implementation practices I use regularly.

I've been working with digital audio in either a hobbyist or professional capacity for nearly 20 years — creating and editing, mixing and mastering audio in both musical and sound design contexts: a few indie albums, indie games to AAA games, mobile games and spatial (ambisonics) audio work for linear VR Film.

I'm largely self-taught and have developed my chops through pure passion and interest in audio and game development. I learned how to edit and mix via music, developed a love for sound in general, and am now focused on technical audio implementation to craft immersive game audio experiences.

I've got a BA in Business Economics with a minor in Music from California State University, Long Beach. While earning an Associate’s degree in Music at Palomar College, I worked recording concerts for the Performing Arts Department, and had a job for a short time as an Assistant Audio Engineer for Megadeth.

My hobbies include: playing guitar, solving Cube puzzles, gaming, hiking/backpacking and training Muay Thai.
